Thru Oct 31 Silver Dollar City's "National Harvest Festival"
The Home of American Craftsmanship, Silver Dollar City welcomes over 100 visiting craftsmen, over 400 of the nation's finest musicians, and back by popular demand, our signature stage show Headin' West during the National Harvest Festival. See our Silver Dollar City page for details.
Oct 3 Red Hat Day - Branson Landing!
10am. The Red Hat Society will be at Branson Landing for a Red Hat Day Parade departing at 10 am for Belk's, followed by a presentation and ceremony at 10:30am in front of the Branson Landing Fountains. Special guest appearances, awards, door prizes and a performance by The Branson Divas. The Red Hat Society is a social organization where there is fun after fifty (and before) for women of all walks of life!
Oct 9 - 11 2nd Annual Woodcarving Event - Titanic Museum
Professional wood carvers from across the nation will again compete in a 3 day woodcarving competition. A 75-minute chainsaw speed-carving contest delivers one of the shows many nail-biting moments. This event is in memory of the German passengers and crew who were aboard Titanic. It’s free and held in association with LogHoggers Chainsaw Sculpting. Experience all of Branson aglow for the holidays. From fabulous shows and dazzling lights to spectacular shopping and breathtaking scenery, Branson is a special gift for everyone in your family during this special time of year. This 2-1/2 mile Christmas Adventure includes 3 dimensional mechanical displays with themed music and story lines. Once you drive onto the property you will be in a wonderland that will bring back the magic of Christmas you had a a little child. Your drive through the animated sights and sounds of Christmas ends at Inspiration Tower. Nov 10 234th Marine Corps Birthday Ball - Branson Convention Center
Lt. Col. Oliver North (USMC- ret) will be featured as the keynote speaker. Tickets are $45 for dinner, Marine Corp Birthday Celebration, Col. North’s keynote address and the Marine Corps Ball featuring a live dance band. Nov. Jan 16 Fourth Annual Ice Sculpting Competition - Titanic Museum
Within hours professional and amateur ice carvers transform 250-pound blocks of ice into dazzling creations. This free family event will showcase the talents of ice carvers from across the country.
Jan 30 Masters Trout Championship - Lilleys' Landing Resort and Marina
Masters Trout Championship is an open to the public annual fishing tournament on Lake Taneycomo. It's a cold water lake that offers great rainbow and brown trout fishing. The catch-and-release tournament rules require artificial baits only. Entry fee is $50 for each 2-man team. Cash prices and trophies will be awarded. There is also a Big Trout Pots that are awarded for the heaviest brown and rainbow trout.

This is the fourth year Titanic Museum Attraction has used music, song and stories to honor the memory of the Irish men and women who built and sailed the ship. Everybody’s Irish this month at Titanic – the place to be for the wearin’ o’ the green and high-spirited shenanigans. Unwind during your next Labor Day weekend at beautiful and fun Moonshine Beach on Table Rock Lake near Table Rock Dam! This is a day use only park that is open from 9am - 9pm during the recreation season. It has flush toilets, showers, picnic areas, a picnic shelter, visitor protection, trash containers, swim beach and boat launch ramp.

Sept 19 Ironman 70.3 Branson Inaugural Race
Branson will serve as one of 34 worldwide qualifying events for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, FL. Professional athletes will be competing for a $25,000 prize purse. The course includes a 1.2-mile swim in Table Rock Lake followed by a 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run. Registration for Ironman 70.3 Branson is now open and will be limited to 2,000 athletes. To register, visit www.IronmanBranson.com. Athlete inquiries can be directed to info@ironmanbranson.com.
