completion of Table Rock Dam on the White River in 1958 brought hydroelectric power to the area and
created today's 52,300 acre lake. Table Rock Lake's clear waters have been attracting visitors for

Average daily temperatures on the lake are: Spring: 56°-77°, Summer: 85°-90°, Fall: 71°-82°
and Winter: 42°-47°.

easy and you can swim, ski, boat, sail, scuba dive, jet ski, parasail, and, of course, fish. Several
commercial boat docks and Table Rock State Park Marina provide, fuel, supplies, and a wide range of
boat and equipment rentals.

Rock Lake has a reputation for safety. Few accidents occur on its waters due to the State Water
Patrol and Coast Guard Auxiliary, knowledgeable boaters, and the size and seclusion of the lake.

wildlife including eagles, deer, fox, wild turkey, cranes, and other water birds.

Rock Lake is a fisherman's dream come true. Anglers of all levels of experience find this lake
ideal. Table Rock is well known as a top bass fishing lake with large numbers of largemouth,
smallmouth, Kentucky spotted, and white bass. Crappie anglers will also have good luck concentrating
around submerged timber. Although not as popular, anglers still like to fish for walleye, channel
and flathead catfish, bluegill and paddlefish.
Visitors and residents alike can experience the natural beauty and grandeur of the Ozarks outdoors and Table Rock Lake on the 2.2 mile multi-use
Table Rock Lakeshore Trail. The trail runs from the south side of Table Rock Dam at the Dewey Short Visitor Center to the State Park Marina. The eight foot wide paved trail is available for both hiking and biking, has restrooms available at various points, and meets the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
The trail goes through woodlands, over wet weather creeks, and has long stretches that run close to Table Rock's shoreline. It passes through or within viewing distance of the White River Landing, the home of the Show Boat Branson Belle and the Table Rock State Park, camp grounds, marina, and boat launching ramp. In the state park the trail provides convenient access to its public use and picnic area.
The trail is open from dawn to dusk to foot traffic, bicycles, skateboards and scooters. The only motorized vehicles permitted on the trail are motorized wheelchairs. The trail can be conveniently accessed from the Dewey Short Visitor Center, the Showboat Branson Belle (during seasonal operating hours) and the picnic area at Table Rock State Park.
